SAFARIS FOR TWO

If you want to see things from up close, if you want to interact with people on a personal basis, we believe that the less the visitors, the better.

Animals cannot really be stalked on foot with large groups: noises, scent, will put them off.

Locals immediately identify groups as herds of "Touristus Simplex", and their attitude is completely different from what it is with people they consider as being part of the local life.

One or two people accompanying us are perceived as being just our guests when we reach villages or meet acquaintances in the bush. And when we track animals, it is easy to explain to one or two people what to do and what to look for.

The logistics of an expedition that takes into wild areas on its own are impressive: two or more vehicles, full-time staff in town and in the bush as support, enough tools to be able to face almost any mechanical situation in the middle of nowhere, spare parts, camping equipment, food, beverage and other supplies, first-aid kit, communications, camp staff, local trackers, coordination with game scouts and authorities, permits, fuel supplies, etc… These, and the corresponding expenses, are basically the same for one visitor or for two.
